We are located in the centre of Playa del Carmen. There are many resorts, hotels, condos and apartments available for short- and long-term rental.
Prices depend on the season. Many hotels have great offers available during the year and a good competition enforces hotels to maintain a high standard of operation. Here is a breakdown of tourist season in Playa del Carmen.

This is just an indication from our experiences here in Playa. It can differ from hotel to hotel depending on their market and where their guests come from, so be sure to enquire exactly which dates fall in the different seasons. There are so many options available and the choices could leave your head spinning.
There are a few hotels near us in downtown Playa del Carmen which we recommend to friends and clients. The area has a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops to cater for everyone´s taste and budget, and are all located on or around La Quinta (5th Avenue) - a pedestrianized street parallel to the ocean - the lifeline of Playa del Carmen.
HOTEL POSADA MARIPOSA
This is a wonderful little hotel situated right on the 5th. Prices are very good starting at $60 USD per night for a standard room (double occupancy). They have 23 comfortable rooms comprising of standard double to convenient mini palapa suites. There is no parking here, but you will not be needing a car as your location could not be better. The newly opened Hacienda Mariposa is owned and run by the same owners. It is also located on 5th Avenue, just one block away from Hotel Posada Mariposa. It is designed and decorated like an authentic hacienda. They offer exceptionally good prices and are currently offering unbeatable specials.

HOTEL AVENTURA MEXICANA
The stylish hotel is located one block from 5th Avenue. It is a cozy, boutique hotel built like a colonial hacienda, with gardens and terraces that invite relaxation. Rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, TV's and telephones. They offer free wi-fi internet, onsite parking and includes a continental breakfast. There is a spa and a restaurant in the hotel and both offer room service. There are two swimming pools and sundecks, nestled in tranquil gardens. The Evolve gym is right across the road, which offers convenient day passes. We highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location, features, services and value for money. Prices start at around $800 MXN ($65 USD) for double occupancy per night.

HOTEL CASTILLO DEL MAR
Located right on the 5th this little hotel, with 12 rooms and 2 suites, is excellent value for money. Low season rates start at $500 MXN (pesos) per night (approximately $40 USD) for a single room. Single rooms have a king size bed, Double Rooms have two matrimonial beds, Triple rooms have one king size bed and one matrimonial bed. All rooms have air-conditioning, ventilators, TV with cable, private bathroom and a refrigerator. There is no parking her, but again, the location of this hotel is perfect and everything is in walking distance.
